Design of the publication L’Batwar, a book presenting a series of essays by architects and cultural actors that were involved in the transformation of the old slaughterhouse building in Hay Mohamedi, Casablanca, into a cultural center for the local youth. Also included in the publication, a visual essay spreads throughout the book, using photographic archival material to put light on the potential of the space to be used by its new occupants. A workshop was organised with children from the neighbourhood who were invited to draw the building and the vegetation around it as to create the objective portrait of the space that they hopefully will be able to fully occupy and use one day.
