“Spider, Spit and Broken Bells is a music and art program exploring the theme of the sacred through experiment, transgression and ritual against the backdrop of an ever increasing regulated life.”
Unfolding in three locations (OCCI Amsterdam for Part I, Worm and V2_ Rotterdam for Part II), with a selections of concerts, performances, film projections and exhibitions, the festival takes the sacral as a starting point of investigation. The identity is structured around three fictional altars, architectural follies attempting to represent fundamental and archetypal aspects of sacrality.
